  • Elta® SilverGel

Elta SilverGel is a unique combination of a clear, amorphous gel and silver ions. ELTA is designed to release the silver ions according to the bioburden on the wound bed in order to limit microorganism proliferation while providing a moist healing environment. ELTA SilverGel flows into the wound bed allowing for a high degree of conformity. Research has shown that dressings containing silver must come fully into contact with the wound bed or wound exudate in order to be most effective.

  • Flavonix® Cytoflamm Gel

Flavonix® Cytoflamm Gel promotes wound healing by the maintenance of a moist wound environment and the breakdown of biofilm emanating from bacterial contamination. Flavonix® Cytoflamm Gel maintains an optimal moisture balance, oxidative state and pH, ultimately promoting the destruction of bacterial biofilms.

FLAVONIX® CYTOFLAMM GEL may cause a stinging sensation when the wound is inflamed. Pain should subside as inflammation is reduced.

    Indications:

    • Static chronic wounds
    • Wounds with suspected biofilm
    • High levels of inflammation

  • Melladerm® Mesh

Melladerm™ Mesh and Melladerm™ Mesh with Film are honey-based hydrogel wound dressings which combine the benefits of honey with those of a hydrogel. The Melladerm™ Mesh and Melladerm™ Mesh with Film creates an unfavourable environment for 4 micro-organism proliferation. The honey percentage and pH have been optimized for patient comfort and wound balance while stimulating granulation and epithelialization. The dressing absorbs wound exudate, activating the stabilized gel and forming a 2,3 hydrogel ensuring a moist wound healing environment. The dressing absorbs wound exudate, activating the stabilized gel and 2,3 forming a hydrogel ensuring a moist wound healing environment.

Melladerm™ Mesh with Film has a high MVTR (moisture vapour transmission rate) film backing which assists in maintaining the moist environment. A protected moist wound healing environment has been shown to be superior in healing compared to a dry exposed wound and also reduces scaring.

Melladerm™ Mesh and Melladerm™ Mesh with Film is a honey-based hydrogel dressing providing an effective, safe, comprehensive and cost effective option to help improve granulation and epithelization.
